Austel is the musical project of UK artist, producer, and songwriter Annie Rew Shaw. Blending ethereal vocals with cinematic alt-pop, Austel’s sound weaves together electronic minimalism, indie-folk intimacy, and emotive storytelling. She’s received praise from BBC 6 Music, The Line of Best Fit, and BBC Introducing. Her 2024 debut album Dead Sea is a haunting and heartfelt journey through loss, healing, and transformation - brought to life with dreamy textures and raw vulnerability.
FFO: Bon Iver, Cocteau Twins and Nils Frahm.
