Dean Clarke House
This gorgeous Grade II listed building in Southernhay is accessible to wheelchair users. Dean Clarke House is ideally located to experience all the excitement that Exeter's city centre has to offer.
Jurys Inn
Located in the heart of Exeter, Jurys Inn has a number of bedrooms suitable for wheelchair access, not to mention this hotel is across the road from the brand-new Exeter Bus Station.
Acessibility features include:
- Lowered beds for easy transfer from a wheelchair to the bed
- Wide doorways
- Sufficient floor space to manoeuvre
- Fully accessible bathrooms, including either roll-in shower or bath with additional hand rails, lower sink, grab rails and pull cords

The Mercure Rougemont Hotel is equipped to welcome those with reduced mobility with their accessible bathrooms, wheelchair access and reduced mobility rooms. You can easily reach this four-star hotel from Exeter Central Train Station - which is located directly opposite!
Holiday Inn Express
The Holiday Inn Express, conveniently located just off M5 Junction 29 and opposite the Honiton Park & Ride, is accessible to wheelchair users and is suitable for people with limited mobility. The Telstar Guest House
The Telstar Guest House, a B&B set in a Victorian town house, allows assistance dogs and is suitable for people with limited mobility. There's also a drop-off point directly outside of the entrance and has level access to the lounge.

Exeter Corn Exchange
Music and comedy fans will be pleased to hear that the Exeter Corn Exchange has ramp/level access and all of their areas are accessible to disabled visitors. All aisle seats in the flat seating area of the venue can be removed for wheelchair users and a selection of seats can be reserved for both wheelchairs and those with mobility, hearing or visual impairments. The venue also has induction loops in both the auditorium and the box office.
Exeter Northcott Theatre
Visitors and residents can enjoy fantastic local and national touring performances at Exeter Northcott Theatre all year around. Accessible features include:
- Accessible to wheelchair users
- All areas accessible to disabled visitors - lifts available between floors. Please contact the theatre when booking seats to indicate and mobility restrictions

Exeter Phoenix
This arts centre in the heart of Exeter provides induction loops in the foyer and auditorium and at standing events, a small seating area is available to reserve for people who have difficulty standing. At Exeter Phoenix you'll also find a lift taking you to all floors and a ramped entrance is found on the side of the building.
Exeter Barnfield Theatre
Catching a local performance is easy-peasy at Exeter Barnfield Theatre! The building is equipped with toilets for disabled visitors, on-street level access, guide dogs are permitted plus there's a hearing loop system in place for hearing impaired visitors.
Exeter Cygnet Theatre
Exeter Cygnet Theatre is a training theatre, with an exciting varied programme of plays throughout the year. At this theatre you'll find accessibility features including:

Explore Exeter Quay
A trip to Exeter isn't complete without a visit to Exeter Quay! Even though access to the Quayside involves steep inclines - the Quayside area itself is level. You can reach the popular area by catching the G bus from Exeter City Centre, click here to find out other ways to travel. Not to mention the public toilets for people with disabilities are located just past the On the Waterfront restaurant and are open from 7am-7pm.
