Old Style Map of Exeter

About

A self-guided walking tour of heritage sites in central Exeter.

The tour has a lockdown theme, showing that Exeter has not suffered not just one hundred days of lockdown, but almost two thousand years. There is an emphasis on walls, gates, doorways, enclosures, prisons, hospitals, epidemics but the walk does take in most of the heritage sites in central Exeter whether open or closed. There are illustrations of vanished gateways and early maps and links to websites where further information can be found on many of the sites visited.
