Louisa Adjoa Parker reads her narrative poem on the Quay Words Podcast ‘Let the river sing’, commissioned by Quay Words and inspired by the hidden heritage of Exeter Custom House and the Quay.
Summer 2019 Quay Words Writer-in-residence Louisa Adjoa Parker spent her time at Exeter Custom House hearing from the voices of the Custom House’s past, collecting stories and exploring the history of this unique place. ‘Let the river sing’ explores the hidden histories and stories of people connected to Exeter Custom House and the Quay.
