This February, Exeter has plenty to keep the children occupied, with a fantastic calendar of events planned in and around the city. There are also plenty of family-friendly attractions in and around the city, most of which are holding special half-term family activities.
The Royal Albert Memorial Museum has a jam-packed activity guide throughout the week to keep the kids busy, including family show Operation Earth, the chance to create your own special miniature ‘den’ inspired by nature, and an exciting adventure in the Explorer Dome.
Don't miss a visit to Exeter Cathedral to see the giant representation of Planet Earth suspended from the cathedral’s famous nave ceiling, by internationally acclaimed artist, Luke Jerram, on display throughout February. Stop by St Nicholas Priory, Exeter's oldest building, for drop-in craft sessions during the week!
Young adventurers can sign up for action-packed activities at Haven Banks, including kayaking or a day of camp cooking and bushcraft on Exeter Quayside, or why not try a holiday taster session at Exeter’s Clip 'n' Climb. If you want that adrenaline rush, fly through the treetops on a Go Ape adventure at Haldon Forest.
Check out the half-term special activities at nearby Crealy Adventure Park or get involved in February half-term fun at The World of Country Life; including farm activities such as animal feeding, birds of prey shows plus outdoor play areas!
Embark on the 'Stories of Sanctuary Spirit' winter trail at The Donkey Sanctuary in Sidmouth, or the Gruffalo Orienteering Course at Haldon Forest.
