A new family opera show from the English Touring Opera
Mathematical superhero troupe, the Code Crusaders, are in desperate need of a new member. They travel through space and time and land in Victorian England and arrive at twelve year old Ada Lovelaces house. But this cant be right - Ada is just a little girl. Can this child really be a revolutionary mathematician?
Exploring the life, work and legacy of the worlds first computer programmer Ada Lovelace, Ada and the Code Crusaders is a fun-filled, adventure-fuelled, participatory opera that brings out the scientist in us all. Created with 7 - 11 year olds in mind.
This event will take place in the Children's Library, on the ground floor of Exeter Central Library, and last for up to 60 mins. Tickets are 5 for under 12s, and 10 for anybody over 12. Babes in arms go free.
Ada and the Code Crusaders is written and composed by Anna Pool, directed by Nel Crouch and designed by Ella Barraclough.
