About

Set sail for an unforgettable creative adventure with author Becca Rogers! Perfect for kids aged 8 - 12

Inspired by her swashbuckling middle-grade novel, Scamp Saltbrace and the Tidal Clock , this interactive writing workshop invites young storytellers to dive into watery worlds filled with fierce mermaids, fantastical sea creatures and thrilling adventures. Led by an amazing professional author

Participants will create their own characters and settings, explore imaginative story ideas, and discover how authors build exciting worlds and memorable tales. Expect salty seas, smuggling, skulduggery and plenty of creative inspiration, along with readings from the book and an opportunity to ask Becca questions during a special author Q&A session.

Perfect for budding writers and imaginative minds aged 812.

Bring your imagination and get ready to set sail!

Please note that children must be accompanied by an adult, who should remain on-site within the Library throughout the event.

The Bookery, Crediton's award-winning independent bookshop, will be attending the event with copies of Becca's books available to purchase. You'll also have the opportunity to get your books signed by the author.
