Panto season is back in full swing at Exeter Barnfield Theatre, as Robin Hood arrives with his friends to save the city of Nottingham!

We all know how the story goes – the taxes in Nottingham are rapidly rising as directed by the Sheriff. Robin Hood then swoops into the city to put a stop to it with the help from Little John, Will Scarlett and Friar Tuck as his Merry Men. However every superhero needs bit of help sometimes, as Maid Marian and her Girlpower Gang are there to help Robin and sing a song or two!

The audience is surprised to discover that the Sheriff of Nottingham isn’t quite the villain as you think. Instead his sister named both Snotty Notty and Rosebud (or Budsy Wudsy – ew!) along with her love interest, the Sheriff’s tax collector, are the nasty ones!

Of course, expect the traditional audience participation the whole family can get involved in! Be sure to spot the recent pop hits within the musical numbers, as the Exeter Little Theatre Company spin a modern twist on this beloved tale. This extremely joyful, superb pantomime will even get the Scrooges singing and dancing along!

This two-hour production is a must-see in Exeter this Christmas. With splendid vocal performances and fun for both children and grown-ups alike, it’s simply pantomime perfection!
