Whether young or old, everyone can enjoy a festive day out at Exeter Racecourse and with the raceday being just six days before Christmas, it’s the perfect way to kickstart your Christmas season. Make sure to grab your friends, wrap up in your warmest Christmas jumper and prepare for a day to remember.

The racecourse is open from 10:50am on Christmas raceday with the first race at 12:50pm. Tickets start from only £10 and don’t forget an under 18s entry is free when they attend with a full paying adult, making this ideal for families. There’s even a free return bus service which runs from St David’s!

As this raceday grows ever-popular, you may even see some big guns of the racing world (and their horses) on the track!
What’s more, local acoustic singer and guitarist, Ollie Stephens will be performing across the racecourse to keep you all in the festive spirit. The event is in support of local charity Sirona Therapeutic Horsemanship, which provides young people and adults with equine-based activities to promote increased resilience and social, emotion and physical well-being so not only is this a great day out, but a chance to support a brilliant cause!

We’re sure after just one raceday, you’ll be hooked and this will become your new Christmas tradition. For those that just can’t stay away, there’s another raceday on New Years Day so you can enjoy another fantastic family day out.
