The Guildhall Shopping Centre and Queen St Dining are hosting a lovely Alpine Christmas Market between now and the 23rd of December. This safe, outdoor event sees eight very exciting traders selling their wares throughout the festive period. The Alpine Village is located against St Pancras Church as well as in Market Square and is open daily from 11am to 5pm with late night opening from the 2nd of December until 9pm.

Some of the exciting gifts on offer include, local Devonshire fudge, wooden Christmas decorations and home décor, Christmas wreaths, chocolate kisses, handmade wool clothing and roasted nuts and confectionary. Why not shop and grab a tasty snack at the same time? Alongside the stalls, there are a selection of great street food traders on site seven days a week.

Guildhall Shopping and Dining also have some exciting visits planned from The Grinch, Christmas Nutkins, Bouncing Snowmen, The Salvation Army Band, Granny Turismo Chrismo as well as many other local musicians who will be spreading some festive cheer under the twinkling Christmas lights.
