Join us for Music Together, a new supportive and nurturing music group for home educated children aged 5 to 11.
During the session we will use a range of authentic instruments from around the world to grow our musical world from the inside out, sharpening a range of life skills along the way. The workshop will be led by Mike Marks of the Sounds of Learning. Mike is an enthusiastic music teacher with a background in primary education and offers a range of musical experiences for all ages and abilities. Music is embedded in every aspect of life. Maths, English, Science, History, Psychology, Art, PE, Geography; they all connect to music in their own unique ways. From our inner world to the workings of the universe and everywhere in between, our connection, confidence and deepening understanding of music will influence how we show up, in ourselves and in the world. Limited spaces available. Accompanying parents welcome, though due to space constraints we’d encourage children to attend unaccompanied if possible. Please only book a ticket for the participant in their name – accompanying parents do not need to book at ticket.
