QOW Trio deliver a fresh, hard-hitting take on the classic piano-less saxophone trio, blending deep jazz tradition with a bold, modern edge. Led by fiery young tenor saxophonist Riley Stone Lonergan, the group features UK jazz legend Spike Wells on drums and the highly versatile Eddie Myer on bass.
Rooted in the spirit of Sonny Rollins but unmistakably forward-looking, the trio’s sound is rhythmically charged, spontaneous and powerfully interactive. Their critically acclaimed releases on Ubuntu Music, along with performances at major UK venues and festivals, have firmly established QOW Trio as one of the most compelling and exciting saxophone trios on the current jazz scene
