Our Happening returns for its third instalment - a night dedicated to ambient, experimental and left-field sound at 12 Bar Music & Social.
This edition features performances from two of Exeter’s most forward-thinking artists:
Brandon Invergo
Working at the intersection of ambient, drone and textural sound-design, Brandon Invergo creates immersive, slow-burning sonic environments. His latest release, Here Beneath the Ash-Choked Sky, blends bowed guitar, processed field recordings and modular fragments into something haunting, hypnotic and deeply transportive.
Posies
Posies brings a beautifully fractured strain of experimental electronica - looping, glitchy, dreamlike and emotionally rich. Their new album Reunion drifts between fragile ambience and melodic abstraction, pairing tape-warped textures with minimalist beats to create something intimate and otherworldly.
With accompanying live visuals, Happening 3.0 pushes deeper into the outer edges of sound - a perfect winter’s-night immersion for fans of atmosphere, texture and world-building music.
