A relaxed Sunday afternoon of drawing, creating and listening-soundtracked by some of cinema’s most distinctive musical worlds.
For this special *Halloween edition*, we’re stepping into the wonderfully strange, spooky and magical worlds of Edward Scissorhands, Coraline, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Corpse Bride, Hocus Pocus, Beetlejuice, The Addams Family, Wednesday and more.
**Soundtrack & Sketch** is a monthly creative listening session at 12 Bar, with each edition exploring a different cinematic theme through carefully selected songs, scores and soundtracks. Themes span everything from Studio Ghibli to Wes Anderson, with each month bringing a completely different musical world.
The idea is simple:
Bring a sketchbook
Pick up one of our themed colouring pages
Bring something you’re already working on
Or simply grab a drink, find a seat and listen
We’ll have colouring materials and specially created pages available, so you don’t need to bring anything.
There’s no pressure to be “good” at drawing. It isn’t a workshop and there are no rules-just a room full of people making things, listening to brilliant music and spending a Sunday afternoon together.
