There is climbing for everyone at the Quay Climbing Centre, the South West's largest, dedicated indoor climbing wall. Try an introductory course or bring your family and friends along for a taster session. With over 200 climbing lines, walls ranging from 7 to 14 metres, plus two bouldering caves, two training walls, a teaching zone and abseil tower there really is something for everyone.
The Exeter Chiefs' home is the magnificent Sandy Park Stadium. Sandy Park is a state of the art rugby stadium with one of the best playing and training facilities in the country. Watch premiership rugby in standing or seated covered stands. The stadium boasts 7 bars, numerous food outlets and pre and post match entertainment, all combining to create a fantastic match day experience. Arrive by train for the short walk to Sandy Park.
Exeter Racecourse is set in a stunning location overlooking beautiful Devon countryside. Enjoy 15 great jump fixtures between October and May, with a number of highlights throughout the year. There is a free raceday bus service from Exeter St. David’s train station and Exeter City Bus Station.
The home of professional football in Exeter, located within the city centre and only a few minutes walk from the High Street. The Grecians are in League One and have been managed by Paul Tisdale since 2006. The club is owned by the Exeter City Supporters Trust and is well supported by supporters, local and visitors alike.
Darts Farm, Route 2, Saddles & Paddles and Haldon Forest all hire bikes for people to enjoy Exeter, the Exe Estuary Trail and further afield. The Exe Estuary Trail provides an exciting opportunity for people to experience cycling around the entire Exe Estuary, appreciating the wildlife and passing through some beautiful riverside towns and villages steeped in maritime history.
