Caroline Harlow, High Sherriff of Devon, talks about the History of the High Sheriff, how old the role is, what it involves, how a High Sherriff is chosen and the ceremonies that go with it, including the Royal connection and the Legal links. Caroline also plans to talk about her year in the role, including where she has visited, what she has achieved and her theme and interests of the year. She will arrive in the High Sheriff’s outfit and will be happy to answer questions. Information about accessibility is available on our Access page.
